VILLARREAL CF OPENS ITS FIRST OFFICIAL ACADEMY IN ROMANIA: VILLARREAL SIBIU ACADEMY

We are delighted to announce the opening of Villarreal Sibiu Academy, Villarreal CF’s first official academy in Romania, following a partnership agreement with ASFC Interstar Sibiu, brokered by Football Events Spain.

This major football development project aims to bring Villarreal CF’s methodology and values to young Romanian footballers, providing high-level training in both technical skills and personal development.

The creation of Villarreal Sibiu Academy was made possible by the mediation and involvement of Football Events Spain, which helped establish close cooperation between two organisations sharing the same vision: promoting local talent and supporting the growth of youth football in Romania.

Through this initiative, Villarreal CF continues to expand its international academy network, strengthening its presence in Eastern Europe and reaffirming its commitment to the all-round development of tomorrow’s footballers.
